These Terms govern the BoothCatch service provided by 사월이파리, represented by 정현숙, and the rights and duties of the company and members. Mandatory consumer protections and statutory rights take precedence where applicable.
1. Purpose and provider
The Terms apply when a member creates an account or agrees while using the service.

2. Definitions
- A member is a person who creates an account and uses workspace or event administration screens.
- A workspace is the organizational unit where members manage events, leads, and draw results together.
- An event connects a visitor page, lead capture, giveaway draws, and follow-up work.
- Customer data is information entered, uploaded, generated, or collected from visitors by a member.
3. Publication and changes
The company publishes these Terms on the service and may amend them within applicable law. Material adverse changes are announced with the effective date and reason in advance through the service or registered email.
Where separate consent is legally required, the change applies only after consent. A member who disagrees may stop using the service and withdraw before it takes effect.
4. Registration and account security
Members must use an accurate email or connected account they control, protect authentication methods and devices, and must not share accounts or use another person's information.
Workspace administrators manage invitations and access and must promptly revoke access that is no longer needed.
People under 14 may not create member accounts. Events primarily directed to children require prior consultation with the company.
5. Service
The service currently provides event setup, visitor QR pages, assisted business-card OCR, staff entry, lead management and merging, ownership and follow-up state, instant and scheduled giveaway draws, fulfillment records, CSV export, and team collaboration.
Current limits and specifications are those shown in the service and user guide. Features or delivery may change for reliability, security, or legal compliance.
6. Event Pass payment and refunds
The Event Pass is a one-time USD $49 product for one event, not a subscription, auto-renewal, or add-on capacity product. It includes 1,000 leads, a 100-lead safety buffer, and 30 days from first operation. Tax and the final total are shown before purchase.
Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the seller and is responsible for payment collection, taxes, receipts, and refunds.
A full refund for an unused Event Pass that has not started operation may be requested at support@mail.surfaze.xyz. Other requests are reviewed under applicable law and actual use; statutory rights are not restricted.
7. Customer data and member responsibility
Rights in customer data remain with the member or lawful owner. Members authorize processing needed to provide the service and must have lawful authority to collect the data without infringing third-party rights.
Members are responsible for lawful draw rules, prize delivery, tax and notice obligations, and for exporting required data before retention expiry or event deletion. They control downloaded files.
8. Privacy and visitor data
The event operator acts as controller for visitor data and must provide lawful notice of purpose, fields, retention, and refusal rights and collect required consent. The company processes the data on the operator's instructions.
Marketing or sales outreach may require separate consent and withdrawal methods. Draw participation or providing a business card alone must not be treated as consent to all marketing.
9. OCR and draw limitations
Business-card OCR is an input aid and may omit or misread information due to image quality, fonts, or language. Members must review and correct results and must not rely on OCR alone for legal or financial decisions.
Draws use configured rules and available inventory but cannot guarantee against network interruption, incorrect configuration, or operator error. Members must review rules and quantities and inform participants before the live draw.
10. Prohibited conduct and restriction
Depending on severity, the company may request correction, restrict features, suspend, or terminate use. Unless an urgent security or legal risk exists, it will explain the reason and response path.
- Unauthorized use of accounts, personal data, or payment methods, or entering false information
- Illegal spam, discrimination, harassment, fraud, unlawful giveaways, or events that violate law
- Malware, automated attacks, excessive requests, bypassing security, or unauthorized reverse engineering
- Unnecessary collection of sensitive or high-risk identifiers not intended by the service
11. Changes and interruption
Maintenance, security incidents, network or cloud outages, natural disasters, or force majeure may temporarily interrupt the service. Planned interruption is announced where reasonably possible.
Members must test participation, drawing, and export on real devices before important events and prepare backup connectivity and a manual procedure. Fully offline submission is not provided.
12. Withdrawal and data
Members may request account or workspace deletion. Ownership transfer, an active deletion or draw, or statutory retention may need resolution first.
Deleted events, related leads, draw results, and stored files cannot be restored. Records subject to legal retention are segregated and destroyed after the required period.
13. Intellectual property and liability
Intellectual property in the service, brand, software, interface, and company materials belongs to the company or lawful owners. Feedback excluding personal and customer data may be used for improvement.
Absent intent or gross negligence, the company is not liable for damage caused by member settings or input, third-party outages, venue networks, exported-file management, or the member's legal violations, to the extent law permits.
14. Notices and disputes
Important changes are communicated through the service, registered email, or another reasonable method. Members must keep their email current.
The Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties first seek mutual resolution; unresolved disputes are handled by a court with jurisdiction under Korean civil procedure.
These Terms take effect on 2026-08-13. Specialist e-commerce and privacy review will be completed before live sales.
